Saeed Anwar is a computer Engineer by profession and wanted to go United States for higher studies to obtain Master Degree in Computer Engineering but become an International Cricketer and played 55 test matches with the average of 45.52 and 247 One Day Internationals With the average of 39.21 for Pakistan. He was living a very glamour’s life and in past appeared in different advertisements for many different brands until 2001.
In 2001 his daughter was died after suffering long illness. This tragedy turns his life completely and he move towards religion. After that he never looks back and involve totally in religion. He takes part in the preaching of Islam and travelled across Pakistan with the tablighi jamaat. After turns to religion he continues to play cricket and in 2003 world cup was the most consistent batsman of Pakistan. He retired from International cricket in 2003 when Pakistan cricket board did not selected him for the ODI series in Sharjah. After that he completely left cricket and more involve in religious affairs.
He consistently tours with the other members of tablighi jamaats across Pakistan to teach and spread out the message of God in the shape of Islam. In this transition of his life some other people’s like Junaid Jamshed very much helped him to transform his glamour’s life to a religious person. He is not the only one who turns towards Islam but he also takes other with him as well that include Inzamam Ul Haq and Mushtaq Ahmed.
